More Than a Day — A Way of Life
Pink Shirt Day at CRC
💗 What a beautiful day in our CRC whānau!
On May 15th, our incredible community came together to share in kai, laughter, and kindness, leaving our hearts absolutely full! Seeing so many faces, hearing so much joy, and feeling the warmth in the room reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
Pink Shirt Day is a powerful reminder to stand up against bullying. At CRC, we believe the message goes far deeper than one day on the calendar. Wearing pink is a symbol, but the real work happens in our everyday moments: in the way we greet each other, the way we listen, the way we make space for others to be truly seen and heard.
Every person deserves to feel valued, not just on Pink Shirt Day, but every single day. Kindness isn't seasonal. Respect doesn't take days off. Making sure people feel heard is something we can all do, right now, in small and big ways.
To everyone who showed up, shared kai, shared a smile, or simply sat with someone, thank you. You are the heart of this community.
Let's carry this energy forward, not just in pink, but in our actions, our words, and the way we show up for one another every day.

He kupu aroha - a word of love
"Aroha ki te tangata, manaakitanga ki a tātou katoa."
Love to all people, kindness and care to each and every one of us.
